About me

I am a Front End Web Developer and friendly collaborator who loves sharing ideas. I take pride in building sites that engage users through elegant, responsive geometry, subtle motion, clarity of message, and where appropriate, a sense of humour.

In my former career as a classical music professor, I began to dive into multimedia productions. Looping meant through sound samples, plugins were our instruments and the screen might be a 20 foot backdrop. Each new project increased my desire to craft experiences with all media. Discovering Web Development felt like coming home as I finally had the opportunity to engage with every aesthetic aspect of the interactive experience. My greatest thrill continues to be watching the visual, textual and aural come alive together with each coding puzzle solved.

As a Front-End Web Developer with HTML, CSS and JavaScript in my wheelhouse, I'm continuing to build in new frameworks like React, explore sophicsticated microinteractions for great UX, and have presented on accessibility solutions with JavaScript.

In analog moments, you'll find me dispelling the week’s earworms with a glass of wine, a friend or two, and a record or four.
